113 Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine & Incode Group: website of the recruitment centre

We continue to help the Ukrainian Defence Forces with digital solutions as part of the Victory Code project. This is the third time that Incode Group IT specialists have implemented the project on a volunteer basis: this time, they created a website for the recruitment centre of the 113th separate brigade of the Territorial Defence Forces.
THE COMBAT PATH OF THE 113TH BRIGADE
The 113th separate territorial defence brigade is a structural unit of the East Regional Directorate of the Territorial Defence Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The brigade was created on 3 October 2018 from residents of the Kharkiv region's territorial communities. After the start of the full-scale invasion, the brigade's units fought in the Kharkiv region, defending the city of Kharkiv from the Russian invaders. Thus, on 24 February 2022, people of different ages, genders and experiences took up arms and bravely defended Ukraine.
In the spring of 2022, the Izyum battalion defended the oil depot with a strategic fuel reserve in the Kharkiv region for 10 days. In September of the same year, the brigade took part in the Slobozhansk counter-offensive. The brigade's soldiers liberated more than 60 settlements. After the counter-offensive, they performed tasks on the border of Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk regions and continue to defend Ukrainian land as part of the Kharkiv operational grouping of troops.
RECRUITMENT CENTRE WEBSITE
In order to attract new people to the brigade, the recruitment centre team needed its own website to provide information about the work of the soldiers, the conditions of service and information on how to join the Defence Forces.

At the end of January 2025, a team of volunteers from the IT company Incode Group started to implement the website. After agreeing on all the wishes with the recruitment centre team, the copywriter wrote the text. The designer developed several versions of the website concept - the best option was chosen with the military, and the developer implemented desktop and mobile versions. They also added a ‘Support’ button that leads to a collection for the recruitment centre's needs. Therefore, in addition to informing and attracting recruits, the site is also a fundraising platform.
