Soldiers of the 65th Brigade received 100 power banks from Hello, Ukraine
In December 2024, the Hello, Ukraine charitable foundation handed over 100 power banks B730 30,000 mAh to the 65th Separate Mechanised Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Soldiers of the 65th Brigade have been fighting the invaders in the Zaporizhzhia area since the summer of 2022 (shortly after its formation). At first, they stood in defence near Robotyne, and in June 2023, they went on the offensive. Thus, thanks to the joint efforts of the 47th Magura Brigade and the 65th Brigade, the Ukrainian flag was raised over the village of Robotyne on 23 August 2023. In an interview with Ukrayinska Pravda, Oleksandr, a fighter with the 65th Brigade, recalled the infantry offensive in this way:
‘When the counter-offensive began, the 47th was supposed to storm the area, and we were supposed to follow and clear it. But it so happened that the 47th stopped, and the 65th was sent forward. And we have a company... aged 45+. So, it turned out that ‘grandfathers’ with machine guns went on assaults. But nothing, we managed to do a lot. [...] The Russians resisted, everything was mined — a mine every metre. There was an unharvested wheat field there, so when it burned down, you could see that the mines were lying next to each other.’
Ukrainian soldiers held Robotyne for more than a year. However, in November 2024, the Russian occupiers took control of it again. Thus, as of the end of January 2024, a map of hostilities from DeepState shows that the village has completely fallen under enemy control. The area of active fighting is shifting to the north, approaching Ukrainian positions. Therefore, support for Ukrainian defenders is extremely important.
Hello, Ukraine continues to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Currently, we are raising half a million hryvnias to buy FPV drones for the 65th Brigade.
Please support Ukrainian defenders!
